Requirements Intelligence
RequirementsHub Requirements Intelligence analyzes your project requirements for quality, completeness, ambiguity, and readiness — identifying what is missing before development starts and the cost of fixing it multiplies.
What Gets Analyzed
Each requirement is evaluated for clarity, testability, and completeness. Vague language, missing acceptance criteria, and untestable conditions are flagged.
Requirements are analyzed against stated objectives, stakeholders, and decisions to identify missing coverage. Goals that lack supporting requirements are surfaced.
Language patterns that indicate ambiguity — undefined terms, relative measures, passive constructions, and missing specificity — are identified with evidence.
The engine evaluates how well requirements connect to business objectives, stakeholder needs, and acceptance outcomes. Orphaned and untraced requirements are flagged.
Stakeholder requirements are analyzed against the full stakeholder registry to identify groups whose needs may be underdocumented.
The full requirement set is evaluated for development readiness, producing a Project Readiness Score and identifying the highest-priority gaps to resolve before work begins.
Intelligence Scoring
Every Requirements Intelligence analysis produces three scores that together describe the health of your requirements and the readiness of your project.
Measures the completeness and quality of your requirements. Evaluates coverage across requirement types, acceptance criteria strength, and the presence of assumptions, dependencies, and constraints.
Measures how well your requirements connect to stated objectives, stakeholder needs, and measurable outcomes. Identifies orphaned requirements and broken traceability chains.
Measures whether your requirements are tied to measurable success conditions. Evaluates whether the project has sufficient coverage to proceed to development with confidence.
These scores are produced by the Requirements Intelligence engine after analyzing your workspace requirements. They are not self-reported — they are computed from your actual requirement artifacts.
Professional Foundation
Requirements Intelligence is not a generic document summarizer. The analysis engine is grounded in BABOK knowledge areas, Lean Six Sigma quality principles, and SAFe delivery frameworks.
Requirements are classified as Business, Stakeholder, Solution Functional, Solution Non-Functional, Transition, or Quality — matching the knowledge areas experienced BAs use to ensure complete coverage.
Every gap finding, ambiguity flag, and quality issue is linked back to the specific requirement that triggered it. No black-box outputs.
The engine evaluates whether your project has appropriate coverage across all six requirement types — not just whether requirements exist, but whether the right categories of requirements exist.
Each requirement is evaluated for the presence and quality of acceptance criteria. Requirements without testable acceptance criteria are flagged as readiness risks.
Built For
Validate requirement quality, detect gaps before review cycles, and demonstrate requirements readiness to stakeholders and project sponsors.
Ensure product requirements are complete, traceable to business objectives, and ready for development before sprint planning begins.
Reduce delivery risk by identifying requirements gaps and readiness concerns before development commitments are made.
Deliver structured requirements analysis and intelligence reports to clients as part of pre-development advisory engagements.
In Your Workflow
RequirementsHub Requirements Intelligence operates before your delivery tools — not inside them.
Requirements defined, analyzed, and validated in RequirementsHub feed downstream tools with higher-quality inputs.
RequirementsHub helps teams build the right thing. Delivery tools help teams build the thing right. Both matter. Sequence matters more.
The RequirementsHub workspace is free. Create projects, capture requirements, add stakeholders, and document decisions at no cost. Requirements Intelligence is a Pro capability — available when your project is ready for analysis.
